No one should go hungry on Thanksgiving and Christmas! We will prepare approximately 1,600 holiday meals this Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve through our Gobbles to Go outreach program! Helps us to defray our food costs by organizing a Thanks For Giving Food Drive and collecting any or all of the ingredients we need to prepare holiday meals. For someone who spends the winter unsheltered on Raleigh’s streets, warm clothing offers not only comfort, but also survival. In fact, hypothermia can become a danger even in temperatures as mild as 50 degrees. Our winter ministry provides blankets, coats, gloves, scarves, hats and other cold weather gear for men, women and children who would otherwise have no protection on the coldest days and nights.
You can help us stock our coat closets this winter by collecting new and gently used winter wear items. For more information and to view a list of needed items, please dowload a printable flyer.
The Tubs of Love project is a year-round opportunity to collect items for residents and other clients served by Raleigh Rescue Mission.
During the holidays, we seek to collect items that we often run short of during the year. Help us by holding a drive in your office, neighborhood, school or church — or even within your family.
